Trying to get a doctors appointment by phone is impossible unless you are lucky! I have tried so many time ringing up at 8 am by the time I get to end of que waiting they have all gone! I can never get a call back either.

Nothing this time my appointment went OK.

Have more appointments at Melrose. As that is the surgery me and my family, initially, registered with and its a lot closer to us

I'd been trying to get an appt for over 3 weeks.I'd ring at 8 & after 2 but no appts were available. I rang 111 who made me an appt at the Walk in Centre. They then directed me back to my own Surgery for blood tests. Following blood tests I then finally managed to see a Doctor. I had previously completed an on line referral as wasn't getting anywhere. I didn't get a reply & when I rang was told you'd not received it .

A better system to be available to book an appt.

It's not always easy to get make an by phone most of the time when you phone in the morning you are told to call back tomorrow at 8am.

I'm not sure but this system is not working too well maybe people should just turn up in the morning and first come first serve like it used to be.
